Microsoft Japan Hosting Xbox One Event in Japan

Looks like Microsoft does intend to fight for the Japanese market, if only a little.

Microsoft may have announced their intention to sit out on the Tokyo Games Show, but that doesn’t mean they won’t have anything to show- even though the Xbox One is getting hammered in Japan, it appears as though Microsoft won’t go down without a fight, that they have every intention of trying to win whatever market share they can.

So, even though they won’t be at TGS, it sounds as though they will still be having a Japan event for the Xbox One- there will be two events, one in Tokyo and one in Osaka. The Tokyo Event will be held on September 26, while the Osaka Event is on October 4.

What Microsoft plans on showing at these events is anybody’s guess, though at the very least, we can expect Scalebound and Dark Souls III to get highlighted, if nothing else. Of course, the best case scenario would be for Microsoft and Mistwalker to show us Lost Odyssey 2.

Sadly, that seems like a dream too good to happen.
