A couple of job listing on Microsoft’s official career website indicates that the company are working to add new features and services to the Xbox One. It seems that Microsoft are looking to take Xbox avatars to a new level, as they are looking to unify operating system and product experiences. For this purpose, they are looking for a Software Engineer that will develop, design, modify and optimize tools and pipelines for the Avatar ecosystem and work with designers, animators, artists, and other content creators on the implementation of new features.

Moving ahead, Microsoft are also looking for a Senior Software Engineer that will build products and services that allow us to run innovative programs like the Xbox Preview Program. The candidate will need to work on high performance engineering team delivering the Xbox Flighting solutions to internal and external partners and has extensive knowledge in serving world to deal with existing and upcoming Xbox products.

As usual, this information should be taken with a grain of salt since this is coming from job listings and not via an official confirmation from Microsoft. But what are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments section below.
