Microsoft Named As the first Headline Sponsor for GAMEfest

GAME, UK games retailer and organisers of the UK’s newest consumer gaming show, has announced that Microsoft will be a headline sponsor for this year’s GAMEfest.

GAMEfest will run from the 16-18 September2011 at the Birmingham NEC and Microsoft have confirmed that Gears of War 3will be playable at the show ahead of launch in the UK.

Stephen McGill, director, Xbox & Entertainment, Retail Sales & Marketing from Microsoft said: “We are delighted to show our support for GAMEfest 2011 and to give customers the opportunity to try out some of the new exciting games and entertainment experiences that we’re launching this year.

GAME UK marketing director Anna-Marie Mason said: “It is fantastic news that Microsoft has agreed to partner with us and be one of our headline sponsor GAMEfest. We have an incredible relationship with Microsoft and I know that our customers will be looking forward to see what they do at the event.”
