Microsoft Praises Fan-Made Custom Xbox One UI

And it looks good.

A fan, who goes by the username of PrimeGhost548 made a video showing off a mock up working user interface for the Xbox One that had been heavily customized.

The video showed that the console’s user interface is actually very, very customizable. The Xbox One’s desktop background could be changed and altered with themes, along with new backgrounds that you unlock along with new Achievements. You can, alternatively, also import images to your Xbox One from your OneDrive account. You also have the options to determine what those images’ image’s brightness, transparency and colours will look like.

The video was being showcased over at the Xbox One sub-Reddit, where Microsoft’s spokesman Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb  took notice of it and praised it. “Nice work :),” he wrote in the comments section. “Very nice. I’ve shared this around. Thx.”

It’s actually a pretty neat looking UI that the fan customized. Take a look at it through the video above.
