Microsoft starts E3 countdown: “It’s on”

Will the next Xbox be shown?

e3 countdown

This is interesting, actually. Microsoft has never posted a countdown to E3 a long time before the event actually happens, which means they are teasing for something–and we all know their next-generation console is in development and should be announced this year, mainly because the Wii U is already out and they simply can’t afford to give it a lot of time on the market.

So, uh, Major Nelson posted this countdown on his website which shows there are 159 days left for the next E3, which will be held on June 11, 2013.

This year’s E3 is said to be special–just like every year–because Sony and Microsoft are supposed to show off their next gen consoles. Now even if we don’t see that at least some new games could be shown like we saw last year from Ubisoft and the likes.

Microsoft may choose to not use E3 for revealing the new Xbox but some other event like MTV like the did last time with the Xbox 360, either way, this is really intriguing.
