About a couple months back, head of Xbox and Microsoft’s gaming division, Phil Spencer, suggested that the company’s E3 2019 press event would be as long as it was in 2018 (which was a little under two hours). However, it now seems like their 2019 event might actually end up being a little bit longer, and as a result becoming their longest ever E3 press event.
As pointed out by Wario64 on Twitter, Microsoft’s E3 event is scheduled for a two hour-long slot, and if it ends up running the entire time to fill up the slot it occupies, it will end up being longer by last year’s conference by about twenty minutes. Considering how Microsoft is claiming the show will be its biggest ever, it wouldn’t be surprising if it ends up actually being two hours long.
The rumours have suggested some pretty exciting things for Microsoft’s E3 event, from a new FromSoftware title to more information about Halo Infinite, while it also seems like the right place for more information on the rumoured Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (seeing as there won’t be a PlayStation conference this year). Oh, and there’s Cyberpunk 2077 as well– let’s not forget that.
Microsoft's E3 conference this year is scheduled for 2 hours long, which will be about 20 minutes longer than last year's if they use the entire block https://t.co/PEWIthTHB9 pic.twitter.com/XHuenZ8qlX
