As if Monolith Productions didn’t already deliver a fantastic experience with Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, it’s third person action adventure title set before the events of The Lord of the Rings, it’s giving away DLC for the game today. And it’s completely free.
This DLC will be available on the Xbox One today and grants you three new Epic Runes, which range from immunity to poison to halved damage from enemy attacks. You’ll also have access to a new custom skin that lets you become the Black Hand of Sauron. No, we don’t know how this works in the context of the game but it’s there.
The Power of Shadow will be heading to PC and PS4 users shortly so don’t fret. If you haven’t already, you can pick up Shadow of Mordor today for the Xbox One, PC and PS4 with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions launching in November.
