Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor turned more than its fair share of heads when the initial gameplay trailer. It’s one of the few games consumers are looking forward to this year that doesn’t have Batman, Assassin’s Creed or Call of Duty in the title, but it seems that it’ll be a real doozy to run on the PC.

The Steam page for the game has apparently revealed the requirements necessary and while nothing else has been posted, the specifications themselves look legit enough to be possible but still high-end enough to be intimidating to older rigs. Check them out below.

Minimum:

  • OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 | AMD Radeon HD 6950
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

Recommended:

  • OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 | AMD Radeon HD 7970
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 40 GB available space

Yes, you’ll actually need a third gen Core i7 and 8 GB of RAM to take advantage of that Nemesis system and ripped off Assassin’s Creed elements. Still interested in picking the game up? It’ll be out on October 7th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
