We have our first official look at the upcoming Lord of The Rings spin off game, Shadows of Morder from WB Games and Monolith. The game will center on a ranger who must fight the forces of Sauron after he has returned to Morder and inflicted death and destruction upon everyone he knows and loves.

We are given a look at in-game graphics, characters, selection screens, combat situations and more. Shadows of Mordor looks to incorporate similar game play style to games like Assassin’s Creed and Batman, where players will wander through the world in third person perspective and utilize stealth and parkour to get the drop on enemies.

One of the great things about Shadows of Mordor is that it will have a constantly new stream of unique enemies, meaning that playthroughs will be unique each time. This adds a replay value factor that is missing in many games being released to day. Additionally, characters in the game will adapt and evolve based on the decisions you make as your character in-game.
