Middle Earth: Shadow of War Receiving Infinite Shadow Wars as Free DLC

Even if the end-game of Middle Earth: Shadow of War, dubbed the highly imaginative Shadow Wars, can be grindy, it does offer some sense of purpose to all the Orc killing. Thankfully, Monolith is thinking further and allowing fans of the end-game to slaughter Orcs indefinitely with the upcoming free Infinite Shadow Wars DLC.

Confirmed in a recent livestream, the developer noted that Infinite Shadow Wars will be a free download. It follows many of the same tenets of regular Shadow Wars in that players will see their captured fortresses attacked by different Orc tribes. By controlling different points, players will be able to force the invaders out. If you fail, then the fort must be recaptured.

The only difference in Infinite Shadow Wars is that the battle will go on continuously as you fight Orc after Orc to defend your property. Needless to say, you’ll have to level up Talion as much as possible and bring your best Followers to the fight for a chance at survival.

Expect Infinite Shadow Wars to arrive when the first Orc tribe DLC releases.
