Middle-Earth: Shadow of War’s The Blade of Galadriel DLC Revealed in New Trailer

New playable character confirmed.

Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of War made an interesting appearance at the PC Gaming Show with The Blade of Galadriel. This is the open world action adventure title’s first DLC and introduces a playable female Elf Altariel. Check out the cinematic from the DLC below.

As an assassin, Altariel has been sent by Galadriel to investigate Talion. The fact that she can see the Celebrimbor is intriguing, even if not much other information was revealed about the DLC. At least it will have it’s own story to play through.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is a much larger adventure than Shadow of Mordor. The Nemesis system has been expanded to the whole world so along with recruiting Orcs to your side, you’ll be leading armies in assaulting Keeps. This means siege battles, controlling drakes and an epic boss battle against the Keep’s leader after several stages of assault.

After a short delay, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will launch on October 10th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Thoughts on the first DLC? Let us know in the comments.
