Ubisoft has officially announced Might & Magic X Legacy and even launched a new trailer announcing its existence. Legacy will be the much awaited new chapter to the classic RPG series, which promises to have both the unique core formula of the originals along with new improvements.

The game actually follows the events of Might & Magic Heroes VI, and you’ll be a part of a party of four who must deal with the intrigue and political machinations in Karthal. This means fighting off warring factions who want to gain control. Yes, it’s the typical “save the city” affair but you’ll be able to build your own party and battle ancient monsters while garnering valuable treasures.

Old-school as old-school can get.

Combat will be turn-based and from the first person perspective. You’ll explore labyrinths, dungeons and much more in your quest for Karthal. If you didn’t believe it before, then believe it now: Legends just never die.
