Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Don’t lose hope – DICE’s Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is still moving forward.

The developer posted a cryptic tweet of sorts, stating, “Faith is returning. Stay alert this week.” That means there’s going to be something coming this week, perhaps a new trailer or new details on what players can exactly expect. Either way, we’re excited for it.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst isn’t a sequel to the 2008 first person parkour simulator. Instead, it’s a reboot and origins story of sorts that tells us how Faith came to be where she is. At the very least DICE has promised a more open world to explore along with some fetching visuals. Till now, we’ve only gotten glimpses at in-engine footage as opposed to real gameplay.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst releases on May 24th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What do you hope to see this week? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
