Mirror's Edge Catalyst

DICE has released a new developer diary for the upcoming open world adventure Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. Since it’s a reboot and origins story of sorts, this video focuses on Faith’s background, the design behind the City of Glass and properly showcasing its nightlife and the various factions in-game. We also get a look at the movement and combat in glances.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is slated to have a closed beta sometime in the coming months, though DICE hasn’t exactly dated the same just yet. The game itself isn’t a sequel to the 2008 first person parkour simulator of the same name as much as a reimagining but it’s on a completely different scale from before.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst releases on May 24 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. What are your thoughts on the developer diary and the gameplay? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates on the game in the coming months.
