One of the high points of the PlayStation Experience tonight was, sadly, MLB The Show 16. The newest iteration in Sony San Diego’s annual baseball game franchise looks like more MLB, but for fans of the games, that is all they have ever wanted- and at least MLB The Show 16 looks like it is delivering that in spades.

The new PlayStation 4 game features Toronto Blue Jays’ Josh Donaldson on its cover. It will be launching in two versions, a $60 standard edition and a special $70 MVP edition. We also got a new gameplay video for the game at the show, which you can see for yourself below.

No word yet on whether the game will also be hitting the Vita- I want to say it should (Sony continued supporting the PSP with MLB: The Show long after they stopped all other support for it), but considering Sony categorically refuting the existence of any further support for their handheld, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a PS4 exclusive at this point.
