MLB The Show 26

It’s time to put on your baseball caps and do a few stretches as MLB The Show 26 has begun the run-up to its March 2026 release. A brand new gameplay trailer from San Diego Studio showcases a bevy of additions that are shaping up to make this upcoming addition to the long-standing franchise a home run.

From additions to Road to the Show Career Mode to gameplay tweaks that aim to give you more control over the experience, there’s a lot to see and like in the new trailer. With 11 new schools added to the roster of colleges, new formats to explore (including the NCAA Men’s College World Series), and a new Diamond Dynasty season, this one could keep you busy for a while. If managing a team is more your style, you’ll be pleased to know that there are tweaks to the trading logic and other meaningful changes aimed at giving you a fun and immersive experience.

It’s quite a long list of additions, and it seems like MLB The Show 26 is only getting started, with plenty of reveals to come in the next couple of months. The game is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2026.
