Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U Will Support USB Keyboards

And will be available via a day one patch.

According to a report by EuroGamer, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Wii U will support USB keyboards. This feature will be enabled via a day one update. This begs the question why not ship it with the disc from the beginning?

Capcom US boss Christian Svensson confirmed this on Capcom Unity forums:

I’ve asked the product manager to look into this. We’ll have some “other news” on communications methods supported for MHTU to share soon though.

EDIT –  I’ve just been told by the PM that there will be a day 1 update that will add functionality to support USB keyboards for chat (naturally, there’s also a soft keyboard for those to use… and other features we’ll talk about later).

In the meantime enjoy the Lagombi gamepkay trailer above.

The game will be released for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS this March. Nintendo will be responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of the games in Europe and Australia. Capcom will take the responsibility as a publisher.
