Monster Hunter 4 Intro Movie Shows Off Beautiful CG, Gorgeous Artstyle

Game looks stunning, incredible.

Capcom’s Monster Hunter 4 launches in Japan in September, and the company is ramping up the hype for the long awaited title by showing us more and more of it as time goes by. Take this newest clip that they released for instance, showing us the intro movie for the game. It shows off some stunning CG work (Capcom really have been able to get the most mileage out of the 3DS- see also, Resident Evil: Revelations) paired with a beautiful artstyle. It also shows off some of the new features that this installment is introducing, such as the increased emphasis on platforming.

Monster Hunter 4 is the fourth numbered title in the series, and it kicks off the fourth generation of the games. It is the second title in the series released on the Nintendo 3DS, and the third title to be released for a Nintendo system. It launches in Japan in September exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS; no PlayStation Vita version has been announced, and no international release date has been announced yet either. However, judging by the time that it took for us to get Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, the last title in the series, we can expect Monster Hunter 4 to hit the west by the end of December 2014 at the earliest.
