Capcom has an excellent track record with Monster Hunter’s post-launch support, so it’s no surprise that the recently-released Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is expected to follow suit. The expansion launched roughly a month, but already has more new content coming up soon, with a free Title Update due in August. Recently, Capcom provided not only a look at that update, but also provided brief details on more updates coming in the months ahead.
The August update, for starters, will add Lucent Nargacuga, as previously announced, as well as the Forlorn Arena. A short clip over a minute in length shows glimpses of both of these, showcasing a small section of a battle against the monster. Check it out below.
Meanwhile, Capcom has also confirmed that after the Title Update coming next month, Sunbreak will receive two more throughout the remainder of 2022. One will arrive in Fall and the other in Winter, with new monsters coming with both updates. Beyond that, Capcom has plans to deliver free Title Updates in 2023 as well, but there are no details available on that just yet.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available on Nintendo Switch and PC.
