Rathalos

Monster Hunter World_03

Unlike Rathian, Rathalos is airborne for a fair amount of this fight so use a weapon that allows you to attack in mid-air easily. Jumping off ledges and hills for attacks is also useful. Rathalos will use fireballs and attack with his poison, even going as far as lifting you up and throwing you down. Target his wings and head when he’s grounded but go for his tail when he’s flying since it will be easier to access on the ground.
