Like a bird mixed with an iguana, Pukei-Pukei combines recent food eaten with poison and launches it as projectiles. You also have to be careful of its large tongue that can also hit you. As a whole though, Pukei-Pukei is easy to read and can be side-stepped without much difficulty. Don’t worry when it goes airborne – just keep away from its front and you’ll be fine.
