Monster Hunter World

Capcom has had a hard time of things this generation, with most of its games underperforming, and failing to impress the audience or the critics. However, it is hard for anyone to deny just how exciting Monster Hunter World looks. The first game in the series made for home consoles in almost a decade, Monster Hunter World looks like the kind of next generation evolution of the franchise that many have wanted and waited for for a very long time.

This is something that is reinforced every time we see more of the game- take this new gameplay footage (20 minutes of it!) from TGS, for example. The game looks dynamic, frenetic, kinetic, and hugely exciting- and it looks like the kind of game that will end up hugely appealing to the PS4 and Xbox One audience, which is weaned on a diet of co-op loot games, such as Destiny.

Monster Hunter World is due out on January 26 worldwide, for PS4 and Xbox One, with a release for the PC following later. Make sure to check out the new footage of the game, from TGS, for yourself below.
