Monster Hunter World and Rise are the sort of games that refuse to stop selling, but the excitement surrounding the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds has seen the two titles enjoy significantly boosted sales over recent months in particular, which is something that’s reflected in the updated sales figures provided for both games by Capcom.
The company recently shared its most recent quarterly fiscal report, in which it revealed that Monster Hunter World (including its Iceborne Master Edition) has sold 26.323 million units worldwide as of June 30, having sold nearly an additional million units over the course of the April-June quarter. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise stands at 15.459 million units sold, having sold 725,000 units in Q1 of the ongoing fiscal year.
Monster Hunter World’s expansion, Iceborne, now stands at over 13.4 million units sold (up by over 819,000 units), while Monster Hunter Rise’s expansion, Sunbreak, stands at 8.42 million units sold (up by 672,000 units). In total, the Monster Hunter series’ cumulative series stand at 103 million units sold worldwide, which is up from 100 million units as of the end of the previous quarter.
