Monster Hunter World Hits 19 Million Units Sold, Monster Hunter Rise at 13.2 Million

Capcom has also provided updated sales figures for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter World: Sunbreak.

Capcom has updated its list of Platinum Titles, providing updated sales figures for Monster Hunter titles (among others) as of June 30, 2023. Unsurprisingly, the action RPG continues to be a steady seller for the Japanese company.

Monster Hunter Worldwhich remains Capcom’s highest-selling game to date, has hit another major sales milestone, with over 19 million units sold worldwide, up from 18.8 million units as of March 31. Meanwhile, its expansion, Iceborne, has now sold 10.5 million units, selling an additional 300,000 units during Q1 (April-June) of FY 23/24.

Monster Hunter Rise also continues to be big seller for Capcom. Its worldwide sales have hit 13.2 million units, up from 13 million units as of a little over a month ago, while its expansion, Sunbreak, is now sitting at 6.1 million units, up from 6 million.
