Monster Hunter World Iceborne

The major expansion to the popular Monster Hunter World, Iceborne, is on its way and it’s promising a lot. The game will have a huge map, and we’ve seen a ton of highlights on the new weapons and armor the game will boast. But it’s all about the monsters at the end of the day, and one new monster coming to Iceborne is a old face in Barioth.

Via Game Informer, we have a video featuring the return of the creature. The trailer not only features the returning behemoth, but also gives a model comparison showing how much the models have changed since the first introduction of the beast. It’s not just Barioth here, as you’ll see, it and Banbaro get into a tussle and you really get to see how the monster reacts in battle. Good luck taking that down when the expansion drops, you have to live for the hunt after all.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Iceborne will be out on PS4 and Xbox One September 6th, with the PC version slated for later in Winter.
