Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Monster Hunter World took the world (and publisher Capcom) by storm when it released last year to soar to become the company’s highest selling game of all time. Now the expansion is on the horizon, and they’ve been showing off the creatures you’ll be hunting in the icy lands. Today we get an old classic with the bat-themed Nargacuga.

The trailer goes through the various incarnations of the monster, from its first appearance in Monster Hunter 2G. We cycle through other games until finally arriving at the Iceborne version we’ll be squaring off against. Nargacuga is one of the most fearsome and aggressive attackers in the game, and has the ability to take to the skies and attack from above, meaning you’ll have to really be on your toes if you want to take this beast down. Check it out below.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Iceborne expansion is due out September 6th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming January of next year.
