Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s Newest Trailer Shows An Intense Battle Against Velkhana

Gamescom Opening Night Live has been a packed show so far. With new announcements such as Little Nightmares 2 and Comanche, as well as new trailers and gameplay for the likes of Gears 5 and Need for Speed Heatthere’s already been plenty to unpack. Capcom were also present at the show, and showed a new trailer for their upcoming Monster Hunter World expansion, Iceborne.

The trailer shows a handful of cutscenes from the game and goes over some story beats, focusing on the icy expanses of the Hoarfrost Reach and the monsters that inhabit it. There’s also glimpses of gameplay shown off, including a particularly fierce battle against a Velkhana. Check it all out below.

Recently, new armour sets for Tzitzi-Ya-Ku and Kulu-Ya-Ku were also revealed. Check them both out through the links. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is out on September 6th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version launching in January.
