Monster Hunter World Mantles And Boosters: How To Unlock, Recharge Time, Effects And More

This guide will tell you what all the different mantles and boosters are and how you can get them.

Monster Hunter World Updated Schedule

Apart form your consumable items and other gear, there are Mantles and Boosters in the game which can be used for short buffs, and they can be recharged and used over again once their effect wears out. This guide will list all of the Mantles and Boosters that you can find in this game.

Boosters

Boosters can be placed on the ground and they will grant buffs to all players standing within its radius. You can find below a list of the different Boosters you can find in the game.

Cleanser Booster: You can get this by completing the optional quest ‘On Nightmare’s Wings.’ This can be used to remove any unusual status effects. This Booster has a 150 second recharge time.

Health Booster: You can get this by completing the main quest ‘One For The History Books.’ This booster will gradually heal all players within its radius for a 60 second duration. It takes 150 seconds to recharge.

Affinity Booster: You can get this by completing all of the Research Base Optional Quests. It boosts weapon affinity within its radius for 60 seconds. It takes 180 seconds to  recharge.

Mantles

Mantles can be worn for a short period of time and they will grant certain buffs. Once the duration is over, they will have to be recharged for a certain amount of time before they can be used again.

Challenger Mantle: You can get this by completing the Optional Quest ‘The Red And Blue Crew’. This mantle will draw monster’s enmity towards you and the effect lasts for 180 seconds. It takes 300 seconds to recharge.

Apothecary Mantle: To get this mantle, you will have to complete the Optional Quest ‘A Portent For Disaster’ and fully research 10 monsters. This mantle causes increased status buildup from your weapons and the effect lasts for 180 seconds. The recharge time is 210 seconds.

Fireproof Mantle: You can get this mantle by completing the quest ‘A Fiery Convergence.’ This mantle increases your resistance against fire-based attacks and also makes you immune to blastblight. The effect lasts for 180 seconds and the recharge time is 210 seconds.

Iceproof Mantle: You can get this mantle by completing the bounty Armory R&D: Weatherizing. This will grant you Ice resistance for 180 seconds and it takes 210 seconds to recharge.

Glider Mantle: This mantle will allow you to glide and you can get it after completing main story quest ‘Expedition Through The Coral Highlands.’ The effect lasts for 180 seconds and it takes 210 seconds to recharge.

Evasion Mantle: You can get this by hunting 7 unique Level 2 Tempered Monsters and once you complete the quest ‘New Word Sky, New World Flower.’ This will increase your attack when you evade at the last moment. The effect lasts for 90 seconds and the recharge time is 300 seconds.

Bandit Mantle: You can get this by completing the quest ‘Redefining the “Power Couple.”  When you have this mantle equipped, it causes monsters to drop rare trade-in items which is a great way to earn some zenny. The effect lasts for 180 seconds and the recharge time is 210 seconds.

Waterproof Mantle: You can get this by completing bounty Armory R&D: Waterproofing. It increases water resistance and makes you immune to waterblight. The effect lasts for 180 seconds and the recharge time is 210 seconds.

Thunderproof Mantle: You can get this by completing the quest ‘Gone In A Flash.’ It grants increases resistance against thunder. The effect lasts for 180 seconds and the recharge time is 210 seconds.

Impact Mantle: You can get this once you hunt 5 level 1 Tempered Monsters and also once you complete the quest ‘The Muck And The Maul.” This improves the stun effect that your attacks cause.  The effect lasts for 90 seconds and the recharge time is 360 seconds.

Ghillie Mantle: You can get this once you complete the quest ‘Flying Sparks: Tobi karachi’. Wearing this mantle will make you invisible to monsters for 120 seconds. The recharge time is 300 seconds.

Vitality Mantle: You can get this once you complete the quest ‘Tickled Pink.’ It basically works like an addition to your HP bar. The  effect lasts for 120 seconds and the recharge time is 360 seconds.

Rocksteady Mantle: You can get this mantle once you complete the quest ‘A Summons From Below.’ When you wear this, you won’t be affected by monster roars and other effects.  The effect lasts for 90 seconds and the recharge time is 360 seconds.

Immunity Mantle: You can get this mantle once you fully research 15 Large monsters and complete the quest ”A Blaze In The Sand.’ Wearing this mantle will remove all status effects against you. The effect lasts for 120 seconds and the recharge time is 210 seconds.
