Monster Hunter World

Capcom’s Monster Hunter World looks to be a fantastic game, and a great next generation realization of the classic series formula that has won millions of fans worldwide. Every time we see it, I find my attention caught by the sheer dynamism of the world, and how exciting the hunts now look to be.

For instance, look at this brand new gameplay video from Gamescom, which shows us the developer playing the game multiplayer- we see Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto amd Director Kaname Fujioka, helped out by YouTuber Arekkz, and Community Manager Joshua Dahdrai hunting down an Anjanath, and it is pretty damn fun.

Monster Hunter World is due to release early next year, marking the return of the mainline Monster Hunter series to PlayStation when it launches on PS4. It will also simultaneously be available for Xbox One, making this the first Mosnter Hunter main game to be available on Xbox. A little after the PS4 and Xbox One release, a PC version will launch too- once again, the first mainline Monster Hunter game release for it.
