Monster Hunter World

Capcom has shared quite a lot of information about the upcoming beta for Monster Hunter: World which will be available on PlayStation Plus on December 9th at 9 AM PST. The game’s download size comes up to 5.1 GB in Japan and 5.9 GB in the West. Of course, you can only participate in the beta if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

The main aim with the beta is to test servers before the game’s launch next month. The beta will last for 3 days and during this time, players won’t be able to play the game offline or save progress. If players are not interesting in joining up with other players through the matchmaking system, they can choose to play solo. Additionally, the beta will feature 3 quests which span across the Ancient Forest and the Wildspire Wastes.

The game is set to release on January 26th for the PS4 and Xbox One, and will release at some later date for the PC.
