Monster Hunter World became an overnight sensation for Capcom, becoming the company’s best selling game in record time. The game is all in the name as it’s all about the monsters, and then all about hunting and killing them. Monster Hunter World is pretty light on the story, but it does have some sensational cutscenes of monsters and hunters going at it. Today we got a look at how some of those scenes were done.

In a special behind the scenes video, we get to see how the motion capture actors did some of the monster scenes, specifically of the DLC creature Rajang. The motion actor acts out the battles, which can be hilarious on a lot of levels. Check it out below.

Monster Hunter World and its expansion, Iceborne, is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Capcom just revealed the roadmap throughout 2020 for Iceborne, and you can read all about it through here.
