Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault

Following the delay of early access to next month, Digital Sun’s Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is hosting a closed playtest. Those interested can request access on Steam for PC.

As outlined by marketing manager Israel Mallén Broch, the playtest includes improvements based on feedback to the limited-time demo. Players can now set prices manually and encounter returning customers while the chaos of random events has been toned down. Also, instead of displaying prices, Relics now have quality values which can be modified mid-run based on backpack management.

As for the dungeons, they now sport a Slay the Spire-esque map with some nodes revealed, allowing one to plot their course and select rewards accordingly. There are also improvements to the overall balance and responsiveness. Granted, some known issues still exist, such as text descriptions occasionally appearing blurry in the UI, so keep that in mind.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault’s early access will be available for PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store on November 19th.
