Moonlighter

Digital Sun’s Moonlighter has received a new trailer en route to its release next week, outlining the various features that players can look forward to. Obviously being a merchant warrior is tough business but there’s a unique kind of adventure to be had here. Check it out below.

Moonlighter focuses on Will, an aspiring adventurer in Rynoka village who ventures into dungeons to slay enemies and sell their items for cash. Each dungeon is randomly generated upon entering and if felled in the dungeon, Will is tossed out with only a handful of items. There’s a definite roguelite aspect to it but the store and development of Rynoka is the metagame.

Sell items, upgrade the store, hire businesses like a smithy to make new weapons and armour and much more to ultimately venture further into dungeons. The end goal is reaching the fifth dungeon which remains a mystery to all. Moonlighter arrives on May 29th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
