Mordheim: City of the Damned Gets A New Major Content Update

New faction allowing for a more interesting, disruptive style of play.

Rogue Factor’s turn-based tactical-RPG Mordheim: City of the Damned, based on Games Workshop’s tabletop game, is receiving a new, major content update today- its second one so far-  as a fourth playable Warband, the Cult of the Possessed, becomes available now in game.

In order to celebrate this update, any player who decides to jump on board this game and enter its Early Access (yes, it is still in Early Access) from now through February 6 will get a 33% discount.

The Cult of the Possessed is, in the game’s universe’s lore, a group of degenerates and mutants gathered together seeking to gain the favour of the Shadowlord by returning the Wyrdstone to the Pit, slaughtering all those they find trespassing on their master’s domain. Mechanically, playing as one of them offers multiple new styles of play, as they get multiple passive skills and buffs and debuffs that can interrupt and distort other players in their vicinity.

Stay tune to GamingBolt for more coverage, and in the meanwhile, be sure to check out the new gameplay trailer above.
