Exclusives were never a strength of the Xbox 360, and it’s been looking like they won’t exactly be the Xbox One’s forte either, despite earlier promises from Microsoft suggesting otherwise. However, Microsoft says that the Xbox One will be receiving some exclusive releases by the end of the year that have not, in fact, been announced yet. It could be anything, but we’re guessing it isn’t too big, since MS hasn’t even announced it till now.
When asked by a fan on Twitter if there will be any exclusive releases for the Xbox One this year, VP of Microsoft Game Studios Phil Spencer replied, “Had to think about this: out this year, unannounced and exclusive. Yes.”
What could it be? Could it be the game we all know exists but hasn’t officially been announced yet- Halo 2: Anniversary Edition? But technically, that wouldn’t really be an Xbox One “exclusive.”
