Mortal Kombat 1 - Omni-Man_02

NetherRealm Studios’ first DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1 is Invincible’s Omni-Man, a Viltrumite with overwhelming strength and the ruthlessness to match. While the first trailer showcased his sheer brutality, a new gameplay video is available that goes into more detail (and displays some pre-match dialogue). Check it out below.

Along with flying around and rushing opponents with strikes, Omni-Man can also dodge their attacks and toss them around. One particularly devastating move sees him going into space to bring a small asteroid to throw at his foe. There’s also his Fatality, which is like the scene in Invincible where he kills people on a moving train using his opponent’s body (that falls apart at the end).

Tremor’s moves are also interesting, including tossing a rock that can launch enemies up, spraying a stream of magma and reflecting projectiles. His Kameo Fatality is pretty straightforward, as he bowls a rapidly growing boulder to crush his opponent.

Omni-Man and Tremor are available on November 16th, with Kombat Pack and Premium Edition owners receiving early access on November 9th. Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review here.
