Fresh off revealing new characters and the new Invasions mode in Mortal Kombat 1, NetherRealm Studios has released a live-action trailer for the upcoming fighter. It sees actor/former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista rallying crowds of people with two simple words in a callback to the classic 1993 TV commercial. Check it out below.

The trailer’s theme matches the game’s tagline, “It’s in our blood.” As a reboot for the franchise’s timeline, it sees various characters like Raiden, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena and more having different relationships. Mortal Kombat is still a thing, with Fire God Liu Kang recruiting warriors for the tournament.

Thus far, characters like General Shao from Outworld and misfits like Havik and Reptile are involved. Then there’s also Shang Tsung, seemingly in the shadows. Check out the latter’s new origins here.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Premium Edition owners gain access on September 14th. Head here for some of the latest gameplay.
