NetherRealm has released the first trailer for Mortal Kombat 1’s next DLC character, Homelander from The Boys. The DLC is pretty faithful to the character (right down to the milk), but that’s not all fans have to look forward to. On Twitter, director Ed Boon also teased the addition of character skins based on the 1995 Mortal Kombat film.

Only Scorpion is showcased, with images showcasing his appearance in the pre-battle cutscene, during combat (with the recently revealed Ferra) and when viewing him outside battle. The outfit is pretty faithful, and it seems a given that other characters receive the same, though which ones are currently unknown.

Stay tuned for more details and updates in the meantime. As for Homelander, he joins the roster this Spring, with a release date yet to be revealed. Mavado is joining as a Kameo Fighter in May, though Terra hasn’t received a date yet.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review.
