Mortal Kombat 1 - Ermac

NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 will see the debut of its next DLC fighter, Ermac, on April 23rd. However, Kombat Pack owners gain early access starting on April 16th. Check out his moves in the first gameplay trailer below.

Utilizing telekinesis and acting as a vessel for departed souls, Ermac deftly combines both in combat. He can use spirits to effectively snare opponents, leaving them open to combos or a teleporting stomp to the back from above. After imbuing his body with these souls, he can unleash even stronger abilities, including a demonic spirit that stabs through the opponent.

As for his Fatality, it sees Ermac systematically dissecting his opponent while spinning them around. Mavado, who debuted in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, is the next Kameo Fighter and arrives in May. His signature grapple hooks return, but he also possesses a trap that can stun opponents. Stay tuned for more details on his release date in the coming weeks.

Mortal Kombat 1 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Check out our review here.
