WB Games titles are no strangers to controversy surrounding monetization methods, and sure enough, Mortal Kombat 1 has attracted some of that as well, having drawn criticism from the community for its lack of alternate skins in DLC, and its recent Halloween-themed $10 Premium Fatality, among other things.

Where the latter is concerned, in response to the widespread criticism from players, WB Games is offering two additional Fatalities to those who purchased the aforementioned Halloween Fatality at no additional cost (as reported by IGN).

While a Winter Fatality is a bit further off, a bonus Thanksgiving Fatality will become available in the coming days, though courtesy of dataminer thethiny, it has leaked ahead of time, and can be viewed below. Unsurprisingly, it’s bizarre and delightfully gory in all the ways you’d expect from Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat 1 has sold nearly 3 million units since it launched for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in September. Recently, it was confirmed that Antony Starr won’t be reprising his role as The Boys’ Homelander when the supervillain is added to the game’s roster as DLC next year. Meanwhile, Invicible’s Omni-Man arrives on November 16.
