Mortal Kombat 1 Will Have a Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2023

The panel is scheduled for this Friday, July 21, and will run from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM PT.

Fans of the fighting genre have had it good for a while now, and by the looks of it, things are going to get better still. Mortal Kombat 1 is looking like it’s going to be a big factor in that, with all that we’ve seen of the upcoming reboot so far having looked more than a little promising. Soon enough, NetherRealm Studios will have even more to show.

It’s been confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 will have a panel at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con later this week. The panel is set for Friday, July 21, and will be an hour long, running from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM. There’s no word on who will be in attendance for the panel and what we can expect from it by way of new announcements, with NetherRealm only billing it as “a panel you won’t want to miss.”

Given the venue, it might make sense for Mortal Kombat 1’s post-launch DLC characters to be officially unveiled, which, according to leaks, include DC’s Peacemaker, Invincible’s Omni Man, and The Boys’ Homelander, the latter of whom was recently made official by The Boys’ official TikTok account.

It’s been previously confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will also have panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
