Or Johnny Cage's finger, at the very least.

Information on Mortal Kombat 11 has been plentiful since its initial reveal. Over the last few weeks, we’ve learned plenty about the game’s roster too, with characters such as D’Vorah, Kabal, and Jade all having been confirmed to be playable fighters in the upcoming game. Now, NetherRealm Studios boss and Mortal Kombat 11 director Ed Boon is teasing another new addition.

And you’re probably familiar with him- fan favourite shades-sporting Johnny Cage. Or, well, a (tiny) part of him, at the very least. Boon recently tweeted out an image showing only the middle finger of a character (that everyone was very quick to point out was obviously Johnny Cage), accompanied with the caption “Who hired this guy….WTF?”

Interestingly enough, Johnny Cage wasn’t part of the recent leak that mentioned several characters in the game (many of whom have been confirmed since then)- though his daughter, Cassie Cage, was. Read more about the leak through here.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches worldwide on April 23 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
