The latest entry in the Mortal Kombat series is one of the best yet. Featuring a host of iconic characters as well as a wealth of content, it had a little bit of everything. The game’s post-launch content has been solid, too, with more characters still coming. You’ll also be able to celebrate the holidays with the game with two new limited time events.

Both events with be free with the first one running December 22th to the 27th. Winter Wonderland will feature limited time Towers of Time that has a lot of fun and goofy modifiers such as Christmas Trees, Sledding Tarkatans, Shooting Stars and more.

The second event will have a more party theme to go along with the New Year’s appropriately called Ring in the New Year. The Towers during that event will have modifiers like Disco Balls, Party Poppers, Fireworks and will be set off by a Digital Countdown Clock to the new decade. That will last from December 28th to January 2nd.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now across all major platforms, and the events will begin starting December 22nd on all platforms. While the game is said to be the end of the saga’s story, Creator Ed Boon did say a major surprise would come in 2020, so stay tuned.
