That leak was the real deal, wasn’t it? All the characters it mentioned have been confirmed one after the other, with series newcomer Kollector being the latest to have been revealed. The only ones remaining after him were Frost, Kitana, and Mileena (how she in particular comes back will be interesting to see, and might be being kept a secret).

Now, in an official TV spot released for Mortal Kombat 11, Kitana has been confirmed. The steel fan wielding Edenian princess takes centerstage in the trailer, which starts off as live action, and transitions to in-game visuals halfway through, showing her locked in combat- er, sorry, kombat with Scorpion.

Kitana has been a series mainstay ever since her first appearance in Mortal Kombat 2 back in 1993, and fans will no doubt be thrilled that she’s once again part of the roster. So next on the docket now is Frost, presumably? Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
