More Customization
More freedom to customize one’s character is always welcome, and there should be more than just three gear categories to customize. It doesn’t have to be an infinite number, but having at least five to six categories would be a good start (and you could even throw in stuff like auras to show off your prowess). Also, multiple different color palettes for the same skin saves on development time – I get it – but it’s way more convenient to let players recolor skins as they see fit.
How that is balanced in terms of overall skin quantity is up to the developer. But even if the number of overall skins ends up being less, being able to recolor a skin to your heart’s content provides more variety than having the same skin with just ten color palettes (or in some cases, two) that can’t be altered.
