Mortal Kombat X Features Faction Wars, Towers and More for Online Play

Everything you do will contribute to your faction.

NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat X is looking to keep the same classic combat that made the series famous while adding a bunch of content for facilitating online play. This includes the return of the Towers, with some Dynamic Towers thrown in for good measure, and Factions. Check out the trailer above to learn more.

Each player will be a part of a single faction when they join and everything done in-game, whether it’s completing missions or playing through the Story mode, will contribute to your faction and rank. By the end of each week, a winning faction will be crowned based on the actions of its players. Every now then, all factions can come together to fight the forces of Outworld.

Mortal Kombat X will release on April 14th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC so stay tuned for more information on it in the coming months and let us know what you think of the new features in the comments.
