Mortal Kombat X

NetherRealm Studios will be returning in 2015 with Mortal Kombat X, the series’ first iteration to make the leap to the Xbox One and PS4 (though it will also release on Xbox 360 and PS3). The developer has been revealing new characters slowly, with Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden and a few new additions dominating the list.

However, DLC characters are definitely confirmed and we could see some one who isn’t a Mortal Kombat fighter at all. Series creator Ed Boon said as much to MadCatz during Evo 2014 and said that one of the upcoming DLC characters will be from another franchise entirely. This is of course causes speculation that it could be a character from the DC universe seeing as how NetherRealm created Injustice and also did a fairly decent job on the crossover fighter MK vs. DC Universe.

What are your thoughts on the DLC fighter? Let us know in the comments below along with why it isn’t Batman.
