Max Payne and Mona Sax
Max Payne and Mona Sax as a couple were doomed from the start. I mean, they didn’t exactly meet in great situations- in fact they meet when Max was smack dab in a middle of a damn gang war. However despite Max’s hang-ups and depressions, he and Mona still managed to stick it out and find each other. That is, until Mona died a very horrible death, and Max slunk into quite a depression. But together they were quite a force to be reckoned with and no Mafia family has a chance against the two of them.
