12. Alan Wake- It’s not a lake, it’s an ocean
Given that Remedy has an excellent pedigree in the video games industry, Alan Wake was in my most wanted list back then. But just when I started expecting more from it the ending just ruined it for me and several other gamers. Many people were left wondering just what the hell “IT’S AN OCEAN” meant, was it metaphor or something deeper? The ending was extremely disappointing and given that that an Alan Wake 2 is not coming anytime soon, it made the game and it’s ending somewhat controversial.
