When Mass Effect came up, gamers were awed by the sheer awesomeness of the storytelling and action; however certain groups from the media decided to ask why allegedly inappropriate sexual content was being marketed to kids. Gamers around the world naturally got angry, because the inappropriate content was wildly blown out of proportion by the media. This didn’t affect the ratings of Mass Effect as it is still a wildly popular game till this day.
